Iran!!! Don’t make me come over there!
Posted in: Uncategorized
Although I THOUGHT Iran wised up and decided not to send two warships through the Suez Canal, I was dead wrong. The fools have their warships at the entrance right now. Look at this map to see why this is clearly an issue:
…although Egypt CLEARLY doesn’t need any more drama…and Isreal is nearly chomping at the bit to blow Iran off the map anyway…this is not about peace in the middle east.
Sorry, nope. It’s all about yours truly.
Yup. In just TWO weeks, my boyfriend is set to return from a YEAR at Central Command in Bahrain. A YEAR! Of course, I’ve seen him on more than several occassions over the past year, BUT, he’s coming HOME FOR GOOD. And this nonsense from Iran is just the sort of thing that may delay his homecoming. And understand this, Mr. Iranian Navy…if Brian is delayed by ONE DAY, I will find you myself … got it? Good.
Now go home and stop being that annoying little sibling who deserves the rough-housing she’s about to receive!

Extreme Stress…WOW!
Posted in: Uncategorized
After spending the 4th consecutive morning on site with Extreme Makeover: Home Editioin, all I can say is “WOW!!”. The only thing more amazing than the actual 24 hour non-stop work & speed at which this home is progressing is the sheer number of volunteers who showed up to help. Simply incredible.
Some folks get the “sweet” shifts…like 7 am – 3 pm…or 10 am to 4 pm….but there are other shifts, like Midnight to 6 am…or my favorite so far: 2 am to 8 am. UGH! But guess what…everyone has a smile and is so excited to be there.
Thank you Hampton Roads for stepping up to the plate like always and doing your part for a great cause!
Here is a picture of me & Duane Cotton. Duane owns Trademark Construction and offered to build this home for free. He has a beautiful wife and 2 little girls and I cannot imagine the extraordinary toll this has taken on his family emotionally, psychologically AND financially. So many more people to thank as the days go on…we’ll keep you posted!
